In March 2019 I began feeling off...I didn't know what it was. I thought perhaps it was a loss of relationship that broke me to my core, or that fact that an old friend had asked me to be kidney donor for someone I had never know. I agreed to be tested to see if I was a possible match. Fast forward to October when I was tested a possible blood clot that had formed from all of this.
Just after I turned 12 years old, I was diagnosed with blood cancer. LLS supported me and my family as I endured chemotherapy treatment to be cancer free and beat Burkitts lymphoma. Now 16, I am inspired everyday to work hard in school to achieve my goal of becoming an oncologist to help kids, like me, beat blood cancer. Thank you LLS!
In December 2017 only a couple days after his 10th birthday Kymani Davis was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkins Lymphoma with a mass on his chest. This was very heartbreaking for Kymani and his family as hearing the word "cancer" for your loved one is very terrifying. With the support and encouragement from his mom and family, Kymani remained hopeful.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. After being in remission for almost 7 years on December 17, 2018 I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I had a bone marrow transplant in March and I am in remission.

I thought the year was going to be an amazing one–promoting and performing–unfortunately, I performed one time and I began to literally unravel. In December 2017, I caught the flu. Normal stuff, not too bad right?
When I write about the fact that I have cancer, it is not my intention to suggest that I am in any way unique. Although when I was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2010, I did feel special, and not in a good way. At first, I thought I had a hernia. But the surgeon said no.
Two years after surviving a massive heart attack, a heart transplant and a leg amputation at age 16, Jessica found a lump on her neck and was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). After months of treatment, her cancer was in remission.
In 1992 my son was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 3 and after 3 yrs of chemotherapy he’s finally cured.
In 2009 I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma stage 4. I underwent 3 years of chemotherapy and today I’m in remission!
