To manage the blood and blood products supply for Canadians in a safe, secure and cost-effective manner; is a not-for-profit, charitable organization.
- Collects, tests and manufactures blood, blood components and stem cells
- Operates the OneMatch Stem Cell and Marrow Network, and Cord Blood Bank
- Provides diagnostic laboratory testing in some provinces
- Conducts research in transfusion and transplantation medicine nationally and internationally.
