Noah

B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL)

Noah was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) on January 20, 2021. He was just six years old. We noticed Noah had a lot of bruising, dark circles under his eyes, his skin became very pale in color, and he was very fatigued. We took him to his pediatrician where they ran a lot of lab work. The next morning, we received a call stating that his labs did not look good and that he needed to see a pediatric oncologist right away. We took Noah to the Advent Health for Children hospital in Orlando where the clinical team ran many tests which came back positive for leukemia cells. From that point on, Noah was admitted to the hospital to begin extensive treatment for his cancer. Noah had a very long journey battling leukemia. Through all the hard times of treatment, Noah always found a way to stay positive. He danced his jitters away each time we went to the cancer clinic for procedures and chemo. Dancing helped him get through most of his treatment. Noah always kept a positive outlook on life and always stayed positive. After 793 days of dancing his way through cancer treatment, Noah finally got to ring his end-of-treatment bell.
