Mission of the LLS

The mission of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of like of patients and their families. We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatment we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.

 

 

 

 

 

Volunteer Opportunities at the California Southland Chapter in Los Angeles, CA

Welcome! With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are helping us change the landscape of cancer. Our dedicated community volunteers are the heart and soul of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

There are many ways you can participate in the California Southland Chapter and make a difference in the lives of those touched by blood cancer.

Participate in one of our local fundraising campaigns to help fund life-saving research and support local patient services and education programs.

Share your expertise:

  • Let us know your area of expertise or skills, such as photography, public relations, marketing, finance, fundraising or event planning
