Ensuring your wishes are carried out

Join us as, together, we create a world without blood cancers.

Oftentimes, when charities are near and dear to our hearts, our families know what our wishes are.  Nonetheless, unless your wishes are clearly stated in your Will or Trust, they will not be carried out during the settlement of your estate.

We can help to ensure that your wishes to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society(LLS) in your estate are carried out exactly as you intend.   You’ll want our Federal Tax ID number:  13-5644916, so that your gift to us is clear.  Our bequest language gives your estate attorney the tools that s/he needs to correctly create your documents.  Additionally, our planned giving professionals work hand in hand with your estate attorney and/or financial advisor as part of your support team – working together with you to develop the plan you had in mind.

Once you have made the decision to include LLS in your estate, you’ll want to complete the Legacy Circle enrollment form.  This completed form helps us to list your gift correctly in our annual report.  For instance, it details exactly how you would like your name to appear, or if you would like to remain anonymous.  If you would like to list your gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one, the enrollment card give you’re the opportunity to do so.

We’d like to thank you for considering a gift to LLS in your estate plan.  To better understand the impact your gift could make, listen to the visionary words of our CEO, Dr. Lou DeGennaro.
