Overview of this FREE educational program:

Blood Cancer Basics - Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma
Join us for this informative program as we explore the different types of blood cancer, including their diagnosis and treatment options. Participants will also be introduced to the essential support and resources offered by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Discover how LLS serves as avital partner for patients and families—providing support and education from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.

Clinical Trials and Their Importance
Clinical trials are essential research that study the safety and effectiveness of new medical interventions and serve as the primary method for determining whether a new approach is safe, effective, and better than existing options. At this program, participants will explore the clinical trial process with a focus on Multiple Myeloma, learning how trials drive treatment advances and why participation is vital for both current and future patients.

We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.

Complimentary lunch will be provided. 

A mini clinic sponsored by National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) will will be held 10:00am - 12:30pm and includes blood pressure screenings, glucose and cholesterol checks, breast screenings, and other screenings.
