LLS position on racial injustice

Many of our volunteers are aware of our position on racial injustice, and diversity and inclusion, and have seen our national social media posts in support of justice and equality for Black people and all underserved populations. 

In the absence of in-person gatherings with Dr. Lou and other LLS leaders, we’re pleased to share with you this heartfelt video message from Dr. Lou, so that you can hear directly from him our position on racial injustice, diversity and inclusion. 

In the video, Dr. Lou states clearly LLS’s support for racial justice and equality, and our belief that Black lives matter. He also highlights our commitment to achieving equal access to cancer care for all cancer patients and elevating diversity, inclusion and belonging across our organization. 

Together with our volunteers, we will continue to create meaningful impact for all patients, including those who do not have equal access to care.
