Target Audience
Hematologists-oncologists, medical oncologists, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses involved in the care of patients with hematologic malignancies, and oncology social workers at the intermediate and advanced levels.
Goal
This webinar will provide an overview of CAR T-cell Therapy for adult and pediatric patients, including a focus on diffuse large B-cell lymphoma as a treatment example.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Provide an overview of CAR T-cell Therapy for adult and pediatric patients, including an understanding of different CARs
- Describe short and long-term side effects management, including Cytokine-Release Syndrome and neurotoxicities
- Discuss practical information in considering and treating a patient with CAR T therapy
- Identify resources for professionals as well as for their patients
