There are many different ways you can participate in the state of Georgia and make a difference in the lives of those touched by blood cancer.

You can help us with:

- Student Series campaign (Pennies for Patients)
- Light The Night Walk
- Team In Training
- Leukemia Cup Regatta
- General office help
- Patient Services and family support groups
Every LLS fundraising event needs volunteers to do jobs such as:
- Planning the event
- Promoting the event
- Soliciting donations
- Registering participants at the door
- Assisting with set-up, clean-up and breakdown
Share your expertise:
- Let us know your area of expertise, such as public relations, marketing, finance, fundraising and event planning
- Serve on your local LLS chapter's board of trustees or committee
- Tell us what you like to do, and we'll find a volunteer role to fit you.
LLS also offers a comprehensive array of services to patients and families touched by blood cancers. Our Georgia Chapter Patient Access, Education and Advocacy Department works with a team of volunteers to provide these services to patients throughout the state of Georgia. Honored Hero Program - an Honored Hero is a dedicated individual or family member, affected by a blood cancer, who serves as an inspiration and provides support to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). To become an Honored Hero with the Georgia Chapter, please complete this form.
First Connection Volunteer - Are you interested in offering caring support and information to newly diagnosed patients by sharing your special perspective on the cancer recovery process? Then sign up to become a volunteer with our Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection Program! First Connection is a peer-to-peer program that links newly diagnosed patients and family members with trained volunteers who have experienced blood cancer firsthand.
