Dr. Christopher Y. Park is an Associate Professor and Director of Pathology Education and Translational Research in the Department of Pathology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He received his B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale, and M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. He was in anatomic pathology resident, hematopathology fellow, and post-doctoral fellows in normal and malignant stem cell biology at Stanford. Dr. Park is a clinically active hematopathologist and leads a research group that investigates the mechanisms that regulate normal and malignant blood stem cells. Dr. Park is the recipient of an ASH Scholar award, Doris Duke Clinical Scientist Development Award, and Scholar Award from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He has served on or chaired numerous NIH, DoD, and VA MERIT study sections, and is the inaugural Chair of the Experimental Hematopathology Committee of the Society of Hematopathology.
