Balazs Halmos, MD received his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. He completed a hematology/oncology fellowship program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA where he also obtained an MS degree in Clinical Sciences from Harvard Medical School. Since completion of his fellowship, he has been a faculty member at Harvard, Case Western Reserve University and most recently at Columbia University n New York where he served as Director of Thoracic Oncology from 2009-2014. Dr. Halmos currently serves as Associate Director for Clinical Research, Director of the Multidisciplinary Thoracic and Head & Neck program and principal investigator of the NCORP program at the Montefiore Albert Einstein Cancer Center in the Bronx NY.
