2bMe offers help to cope with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

  • Provides information on skin care, hair care and makeup
  • Provides information on nutrition, exercise, fitness and teen social issues
  • Offers "patient sessions" at selected treatment centers: hour-and-a-half co-ed, parent-free sessions where teens can experiment with products, hats, wigs and receive guidance about a variety of health and social issues 

Heavenly Hats

Population served: Anyone in the United States who has hair loss as a result of a medical condition or treatment for a medical condition

Heavenly Hats collects and distributes brand new hats of all kinds to those who lose their hair due to the treatment of cancer or the many other medical conditions that may cause hair loss.

  • A request for hats can be made via an online application form or by calling Heavenly Hats
  • A collection of hats will be shipped, free of charge, directly to the patient

Look Good... Feel Better (LGFB)

Population served: Female cancer patients in the United States and several other countries

LGFB, administered by the American Cancer Society, helps women offset appearance-related changes from cancer treatments.

  • Provides two-hour, hands-on skincare and makeup application demonstrations
  • Provides take-home complimentary cosmetic kits

Tender Loving Care (TLC)

Population served: Patients needing a wig in the United States

ACS provides assistance to cancer patients and their caregivers with information about diseases, financial support, support groups, lodging and medical equipment. ACS has local chapters throughout the United States to provide assistance within the community.

  • The TLC Program provides helpful articles and information as well as products for women coping with hair loss - products include wigs, hairpieces, hats, turbans and helpful accessories

Childhood Leukemia Foundation

Population served: Females (up to age 21) with cancer in the United States

The Childhood Leukemia Foundation offers a wide range of services at no charge to children living with cancer and their families. Its goal is to ensure that children with cancer know they are not alone.

  • Accepts donations of human hair for the Hugs-U-Wear program.
  • Hugs-U-Wear donates custom-created human-hair pieces to those who have hair loss due to cancer treatment

HairClub for Kids

Population served: Children between ages 6 and 17 in the United States and Canada

Hairclub for Kids provides free hair restoration for children with hair loss as a result of illness.

  • Provides wigs

Locks of Love

The mission is to return a sense of self-confidence and normalcy to children with hair loss by providing the highest quality hair prosthetics. The children receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need.

Wigs for Kids (WFK)

  • WFK provides custom-made hairpieces. Candidates must be referred by their doctor, nurse or social worker.
