Anne Grace Gourdine and Crawford Wheeler
Anne Grace is a vibrant, mature woman. Crawford is a playful
4–year–old. The two would not appear to have much in common,
but they do. Both are among the 894,500 Americans currently
fighting blood cancers.
Grace was diagnosed with myeloma in 2003. Her daughter, Tami,
who describes her mom as "fiercely independent, free spirited and
compassionate," says they knew little about myeloma and turned to
LLS because of its information and support resources. "They
helped us through a very confusing time."
