This LLS Blood Cancer Conference (BCC) is one of many programs developed to meet the needs of patients, families and oncology professionals, the people who deal with blood cancer every day and the people who care for them. BCC attendees receive the most current information and access to local resources to help navigate and make informed decisions about their treatment and survivorship.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) sponsors a number of free community-based professional education programs for healthcare professionals, particularly for oncology nurses and social workers. Patients, their families and caregivers are also invited to attend.
These programs are led by local doctors and other healthcare professionals and offer continuing education credits for nurses and social workers.
The Greater Sacramento Area Chapter's Board of Trustees is an active group of professionals who are called upon to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at a higher level. These individuals serve as an ambassador to LLS, promote events throughout the area, and help recruit supporters for the organization.
