Participants will learn about CLL/SLL including how it is diagnosed, classified and staged. They will also hear about standard of care treatment options, side effects, new treatments and clinical trials. Survivorship issues including the range of issues accompanying a cancer diagnosis will be reviewed. Additionally, participants will hear about support resources available locally and through their cancer center as well as nationally through LLS. Following this program, we hope patients will feel more prepared to discuss their diagnosis and treatment with members of their oncology team. We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
Pre-registration for this FREE program is required.
Complimentary dinner will be provided.
