Refractory and Relapsed
Refractory Leukemia
If your chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) doesn't respond to treatment (refractory leukemia), talk with your doctor about whether taking part in a clinical trial might be a good option.
Relapsed Leukemia
If your CMML returns after a remission, sometimes called relapsed CMML, your treatment might include standard-dose or low-dose chemotherapy drugs cytarabine (Cytosar-U®), etoposide (VePesid®) and hydroxyurea (Hydrea®).
