Preparations for the 35th Annual Leukemia Golf Open are currently underway. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) strives to surpass last year's profit of $380,000, our highest net to date.  Established in 1979, this golf outing is LLS's longest running event in the local area.  

The event will begin on Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Pittsburgh Field Club. Golfers and guests will enjoy an evening dinner program, which includes cocktails, dinner, a silent and live auction and the presentation of the Roy Chipman Courage Award. Golfers will then take to the tees on Monday, June 10, 2013, in a best ball competition. Morning and afternoon shotgun starts are available.  Raffles, closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one competitions wil be held throughout the day. A continental breakfast, lunch and award reception will also be available for the golfers to enjoy.

Steeler Tickets
The Leukemia Golf Open Committee is proud to present The Ultimate Steeler Ticket. Purchase your chance for only $50, and you could be the lucky winner of:

• Two Club Level Season Tickets to the 2013-2014 season, which includes two pre-season home games and eight regular season home games (This does not include playoff tickets under any circumstance. Attendance is at the winner's discretion.)
• Transportation to and from each game within a 25-mile radius from Heinz Field provided by Pittsburgh Transportation Group
• $2000 in spending cash ($200 for each game)

Only 1000 tickets will be sold.  The winner will be based on the PA Daily Number that is pulled at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 7, 2013 and will be announced at the Golf Open's Friday Evening Dinner Program.  Winner need not be present.

When The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society awards a prize valued at great than $5,000, we must pay regular withholding taxes on the net winnings to the federal government. Withholdings will be collected from the winner and sent to Home Office along with the winner's information.  The winner should issue a check for the withholdings payable to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society prior to taking possession of the item(s).
