USA/BMX (formerly the American Bicycle Association) holds BMX "Race for Life" events throughout the USA to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. BMX riders and tracks began the race in 1981 in memory of Todd Kingsbury, a young bicycle motocross rider from Michigan who lost his fight against leukemia. Since then, USA BMX has continued to support LLS in our mission to find cures for blood cancers. BMX racers have raised over $3.6 million in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Again this year, the following five bike parks will be raising funds for LLS through a "Race for Life" event.
Thank you to the coordinators & participants for their dedication & commitment to our mission to find a cure for blood cancer. We truly appreciate all of your continued efforts!
