More than 600 guests attended the 23rd Annual Diamond Ball, this past Saturday, February 28th, 2015, at Hosting Sponsor Samuel's Grande Manor.


Over $275,000 was raised on this RECORD-BREAKING night, which will be directed towards blood cancer research, local patient services, advocacy, education, and community service programs.


CONGRATULATIONS to this year's Service to Mankind Winner, Michael Huntress, Vice President of Acquest Development.


George Omiros, Executive Vice President, Chief Campaign & Field Development Officier for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society National Office, presented mission advances made possible through funds raise throughout the years, highlighting exciting treatments on the horizon, during his Keynote speech.


Congratulations to Christine Czuczman, a guest at the Roswell Park table! She went home with a sparkling one-carat diamon, the namesake of the Diamond Ball. All other guests took home genuine gemstones, sponsored by Scanlon Jewelers.

About the Western & Central New York Chapter

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Western & Central New York Chapter currently funds four blood cancer research projects in our region. We also service over 4,000 local patients, who are can receive support through our financial aid programs, support groups, peer counseling, educational programs, and many other patient services.

We service residents who have been touched by the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, in the following counties:
