Job Title: Campaign Specialist
Immediate Supervisor: Campaign Manager
Department: Team in Training
Office/Hours: This position will be based in the Houston, TX office with a primary work schedule of Tuesday ? Saturday

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® program is a fundraising campaign that trains participants to do marathons, triathlons, century bike rides and hiking adventures while raising funds to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are currently looking for a highly energetic and organized individual to serve as Campaign Specialist for the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, forward thinking, goal oriented, and operate with a sense of urgency.

Position Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft office and database programs
  • Minimum education - Bachelor's Degree (Non-Profit Mgmt, Communications, Management preferred)
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs. Must be able to work nights and weekends on a regular basis.
  • Weekend travel on occasion
  • Ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and public communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the endurance sport community preferred but not required

Critical for Success:

  • Proven professional fundraising experience (1-2 years).
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Experience motivating volunteers and building volunteer teams
  • Highly organized and professional demeanor
  • From a customer service perspective, works cross-collaboratively with internal partners to ensure all TNT participant needs are met in a timely manner
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for TNT program growth and awareness
  • Assist, as assigned, in the development and implementation of other chapter activities

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Campaign Specialist will be responsible for supporting TNT revenue generation and program growth through high level fundraising support and a focus on year-round lead generation efforts. Additionally, this position will be responsible for overseeing all programmatic elements, inclusive of events, volunteer management, and logistics for their designated teams.
