Memphis-Family Support Group

The family support group for patients, family members and friends in the Memphis area who are coping with leukemia, myeloma, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and Myelodysplastic Syndromes, is held at 6 PM on the first Tuesday of every month.  The meetings are held in the Jones Clinic, 7710 Wolf River Circle, in Germantown, Tennessee.  Facilitators for the group are Pastor Don Marston and Betty Dozier, RN OCN.  Call (901) 685-5969 ext. 316 or (901) 754-7455 for additional information.  All meetings are held free of charge to attendees.

Family Support Groups are based on the idea that communication is important throughout the cancer journey.  with professional guidance, patients, family members and friends can discuss their anxieties and concerns with others who share the experience. This sharing strengthens the family bond and enhances everyone's ability to cope with cancer.
