The myeloma support group for patients, family members and friends in the Nashville area who are coping with myeloma, is held on the third Wednesday of every month at 11 AM. The meetings are held at Gilda's Club located at 1707 Division Street in Nashville, TN and meets free of charge to attendees. The group facilitators are Kelly Owens, MSW LMSW, and Rus Roach, D.Min.
Gilda's Club requests that attendees call ahead to (615) 329-1124 when attending.
Family Support Groups are based on the idea that communication is important throughout the cancer journey. With professional guidance, patients, family members and friends can discuss their anxieties and concers with others who share their experience. This sharing strengthens the family bond and enhances everyone's ability to cope with cancer.
