The Myeloma Support Group for patients, family members and friends in the Chattanooga area is held on the second Thursday of every month at 6 PM. The meetings are held in Suite 307 of the Memorial Center for Cancer Support at 605 Glenwood Drive in Chattanooga. The facilitators for the group is Rhonda Edwards LCSW. Call (423) 495-7858for additional information. The meetings are held free of charge.
Family Support Groups are based on the idea that communication is important throughout the cancer journey. With professional guidance, patients, family members and friends can discuss their anxieties and concerns with others who share the experience. This sharing strengthens the family bond and enhances everyone's ability to cope with cancer. There is no charge for meeting attendees.
