The Patient Services Department is here to "improve the quality of life of patients and their families." There are three major ways that we work to fulfill this goal: education, support and financial assistance. Information about financial assistance and support are below. For current information about current education programs, click on the tab on the left called "Patient Education."
For more information regarding these programs, unless otherwise noted, please contact our Patient Services Manager, Jackie Personett at (513) 698-2424 or Beth Hutchinson at (513) 698-2423.
Patient Financial Assistance Program
The Patient Financial Aid Program has been changed, effective 7/1/09. Under this new plan, patients with a blood cancer diagnosis, confirmed by a physician, will receive a check for $150, without submitting any receipts or travel logs.
If you have any questions, please contact Beth Hutchinson or call (513) 698-2423.
Family Support Groups
Our groups are facilitated by health/mental health professionals with oncology and group work experience. Groups primarily meet monthly to provide an environment where patients, family members and friends can mutually support each other and receive guidance regarding the emotional needs created by a life-threatening illness. There is no charge for this service. For further information or support in the Cincinnati area please contact our Patient Services Manager, Jackie Personett at (513) 698-2424.
