The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is happy to announce the upcoming release of the award-winning feature film, "Ways to Live Forever" and our association with the film's North American distributor. The film follows 12-year-old leukemia patient, Sam, and his family as they face the immensity of an uncertain future with love, humor, and a touch of the unexpected. A portion of box office proceeds will benefit many cancer and health-related organizations throughout the US, including LLS. We need your help to make this film a huge success!
Opening weekend attendance for specialty films like "Ways to Live Forever" is extremely critical for the success of the release, and will largely determine whether theaters will continue to play the film. If opening weekend is strong, not only will the film get more exposure, but it will also significantly increase revenue donations for cancer research and patient and family support.
Your help in spreading the word can really make a difference. Please come out to see "Ways to Live Forever" over the opening weekend of October 18th, and don't forget to tell all of your friends!
