Position Title: Donor Development Intern
Postion Location: San Diego/Hawaii Chapter - San Diego, CA
The Donor Development department builds relationships with individual, foundation, and corporate donors to obtain monetary gifts for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Funds raised support LLS's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
The Donor Development Intern will work under the supervision, direction and training of the Donor Development Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will be an organized and creative self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with a diverse audience. S/he should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Applicants who are proficient in Microsoft Office, database programs, and have some experience in nonprofit management, fund development, project management, and/or event planning are encouraged to apply.
