DJO is a leading global provider of high-quality, orthopedic devices, with a broad range of products used for rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy. In 2009 DJO formed the first San Diego based national Team In Training Corporate Team for the Rock ?n? Roll Marathon. Twenty-six employees ran or walked the marathon and raised over $75,000. The grand total raised by DJO employees for Team In Training exceeds $135,000 and they are back at it again for this year?s Rock ?n? Roll event!
Beyond DJO?s personal participation as a corporate team, they also provide significant volunteer leadership through their Senior Vice President of Finance & Business Development, Matt Simons. Matt served as the Corporate Walk Chair for the Light The Night Walk in 2010, further expanding DJO?s commitment to finding a cure for blood cancers.
DJO has generously supported the chapter?s annual Children?s Holiday Party for young patients and their families battling blood cancer. They have helped to ensure that patients and siblings are presented with toys, a warm meal, holiday spirit, and most importantly fun family memories away from the daily reality of hospital visits, treatments, and medications.
We are endlessly inspired and grateful for our partnership with DJO!
