[AUSTIN, TX] - [September 19, 2013] - Have you ever wanted to train for a half marathon, but felt it was impossible? The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® (TNT) is currently registering participants for its winter season. Participants of the program help to raise funds to fight and find cures for blood cancers while training to walk or run a half marathon. Make a difference with every step or push of the pedal!
TNT is offering three events this season, each occurring on January 19, 2014. Participants can choose to participate in the Austin 3M Half Marathon or Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Half Marathon. They can also choose to train with our Flex program for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon in Anaheim, California. Information meetings and training for these events are currently underway. Questions about this season's events can be answered online at www.teamintraining.org/sctx or by phone at 1-800-683-2458 ext. 5125.
Anyone is welcome to join us at our Winter season Kick Off Celebration and information meeting on Thursday, September 26, at 6:00 PM. It will be held at the Double Tree by Hilton Austin in the Dewitt Room.
