We encourage all participants to fundraise.  Why?  Because you can earn exciting incentive prizes and awards based on the amount you raise.  Because funds raised through the Links Fore Leukemia Golf Tournament support The Society's mission to find a cure for blood cancers.  Because funds provide patient services in the North Texas area. 

Every little bit helps:
A $25 donation provides patients and their loved ones with free booklets with information about their disease and facts to help them make informed decisions about treatment options.
A $50 donation allows a patient to join a Family Support group with a trained facilitator, other patients and their family members.
A $100 donation helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying our their life-saving research.
A $1,000 donation connects patients with health care specialist in a one-on-one setting.

Fundraising Tips

By far, the fastest and easiest way to raise money is to use your online fundraising page. When you register for the tournament, a fundraising web page will automatically be set up for you and log on information will be emailed. Simply send an email or mail a letter (see a sample letter) to your friends, family, and co-workers with the link to your website and they can quickly and safely make a contribution online. Funds will be credited to you and you don't have to do anything else. Your donors even get a receipt instantly online! Very simple and quick to use. 
     
Share your connection to the cause.  If you or someone you know has battled a blood cancer, do the event in their honor.

Remember to ask donors if their company has a matching gift program.  Matching gifts can double (or even triple) the original donation amount.

Pledge Collection Deadline  
To be eligible for prizes, all pledge money must be received at the Society one week prior to the tournament.

Quick Tax-Deduction Tips

- All donations made to the Society are tax-deductible.
- All checks should be made out to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
- The Society will automatically send out a tax letter to those individuals who donate $50 or more.
- If you have a donor who contributes more than $50 in cash, please list their address on your pledge form so that we can send a tax letter.
- If you have a donor who contributes less than $50 and would like an acknowledgement of his or her donation, please enclose a small note or highlight the individual's name on your pledge form.
