Concert - Lauritzen Gardens

"The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is delighted to be partnering once again with St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on the September concert at Lauritzen Gardens!  Last year's event was a resounding success leading to a greater awareness among concert-goers of the work of our organization.  It is estimated that over one million individuals in the United States are living with, or in remission from, leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, or myeloma.  Our organizational mission is to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for blood cancers and to provide optimal programs and services to patients and their families.  We continue to raise not only awareness but the funds necessary to make certain our mission is successfully addressed.  Becoming involved with community groups such as St. Andrew's further our efforts in a mutually beneficial manner.  We are grateful for the partnership and hope it continues for many years to come!"

- Pattie Gorham, Executive Director, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ? Nebraska Chapter

The concert last September was "By Request Only" with Billy McGuigan and Jimmy Weber, two outstanding nationally known musicians.  It was held at the beautiful Lauritzen Gardens with a special pre-concert meet-and-greet with the musicians, and delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided by Hap Abraham Catering.  The event was a tremendous success!

Stayed tuned for further details!
