Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's walk and fundraising event, held on fall evenings in cities across the U.S. and Canada.  Teams of friends, families and co-workers raise funds for cancer research being conducted throughout the world and for services for blood cancer patient?s right in their community.  Participants pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer, walking in twilight, and holding illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters, gold in memory of loved ones lost.  It's an evening filled with warmth and emotion - a show of support from a community that cares.

Join us in Omaha on Thursday, October 17th, 2013 at Werner Park in Papillion.  Registration and check-in begin at 5:30 p.m. and the Walk begins at 7:30 p.m.  We will also be hosting a Remembrance Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. to honor those who have lost their battle.
