The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be hosting our second annual Man & Woman of the Year finale celebration on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at The Hilton - Omaha.  Man & Woman of the Year is a ten week campaign to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Individuals in the community agree to utilize their leadership abilities and resources to conduct their own fundraising campaigns.  The male and female candidates who raise the most funds during the campaign will be awarded the title of the chapter's Man & Woman of the Year.  Candidates run in honor of the Boy & Girl of the year, who are local blood cancer patient survivors and sources of inspiration to others.

This years Boy of the Year will be Charlie Peters and our Girl of the Year will be Kerstin Leaf.

In 2012, our Man & Woman of the year raised a combined total of over $238,000!  Congratulations to our Man of the Year, Tony Sorentino, and our Woman of the Year, Kathy Simpson!

Our 2012 candidates were joined by Brandon Overmann, Boy of the Year and Girl of the Year Paige Lindner.
