About the North Carolina Chapter

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's North Carolina Chapter was founded in 1980 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves all North Carolina counties.

About The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), based in White Plains, NY, is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since it was founded in 1949, LLS has invested more than $875 million in research specifically targeting blood cancers.
