About the Minnesota Chapter
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Minnesota Chapter was founded in 1982 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves the states of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), based in White Plains, NY, is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since it was founded in 1949, LLS has invested more than $814 million in research specifically targeting blood cancers.
