Position Title: Patient Services Intern (Unpaid)
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide patient services support and increasing awareness of various LLS programs. This is a great opportunity to experience working in a nonprofit environment while enhancing your professional skills.
Assist with the planning, execution and follow-up of educational programs, including invitation mailings, follow-up phone calls and preparing materialsAssist in building "expert network" within chapter to enhance patient supports and programs
Must be enrolled in a four year institution
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office and database management
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment while also able to work independently
Must be able to dedicate 15-20 hours per week. Work hours are flexible in order to work around class schedules.
This internship is unpaid. Potential for class credit is available pending school approval.
