Position Title: Temporary Campaign Assistant - Long Island Chapter. Hauppauge, NY
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Long Island Chapter is seeking a candidate to assist with key administrative activities associated with its Man & Woman of the Year Campaign. The selected candidate will gain valuable experience in the areas of: business and non-profit operations; development and fundraising; marketing & PR; and community relations.
Basic Function: Performs logistical projects and activities for the Man & Woman of the Year department to support the staff and enhance income production.
Work Direction: Works under the direction, supervision and training of the MWOY Senior Manager, and Campaign Specialist.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management strongly preferred. This temporary position is available working primarily Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends, and local travel are required.
