Position Title: School & Youth Programs Recruitment & Outreach Specialist

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society seeks an energetic, articulate and hard working individual to generate excitement and involvement in our 2013-2014 School & Youth Programs, including Pennies for Patients and Pasta for Pennies fundraising campaigns. This vital position is responsible for contacting Kansas schools in order to secure their participation in our annual fundraising program. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining schools, building relationships, taking detailed notes, maintaining records, and other tasks as assigned. Applicants must be comfortable on the phone, familiar with Microsoft Excel and willing to learn the database utilized by the department.

This is a 20 - 25 hours per week position starting in August and ending on or before February, 2014, based on performance.

This position offers flexible, school-friendly hours Monday - Friday.
