Position Title: Manager, Light The Night ? Corporate Teams
Location: Illinois Chapter- Chicago
Position Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Reports to: Director, Revenue ? Light The Night
Basic Function: Responsible for the recruiting, cultivating and managing Light The Night?s corporate fundraising teams to meet market-driven revenue goals and expense budget. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience with direct sales in a business environment.
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma (blood cancers), and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Our premier grass roots fundraising event is The Light The Night Walk, where thousands of participants raise funds for vital, lifesaving research and patient services. Revenue from corporate fundraising teams is one of the fastest growing segments for Light The Night and the Corporate Team Manager is the lead staff driving efforts to upgrade existing teams and source new teams from the business community.
The Illinois Chapter is a nationwide leader in Light The Night executing one of the top five campaigns raising more than $1MM, but with potential for revenue growth of $2MM and beyond. Ideal candidates will be able to identify opportunity and execute strategy ultimately increasing revenue from corporate fundraising teams while leveraging relationships to grow sponsorships and identify potential leadership volunteers.
