26th Annual Missouri Winefest

January 12, 2012 -- If you've ever wanted to taste all of the best wines from Missouri wineries in one stop, then the Missouri Winefest is your opportunity. The popular, longstanding Missouri Winefest returns to Westport Plaza in the Indoor Pavilion on Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12 from 12:00 p.m. ? 5:00 p.m. All proceeds from the event directly benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The celebrated, two-day tasting festival features more than 50 wines from nine (to date) of Missouri's favorite wineries. Food from local vendors will be available for purchase and singer Tony Viviano will provide live entertainment. Back by popular demand, Viviano, who has established a reputation as St. Louis' best Frank Sinatra song stylist and entertainer, will perform on both days.

Other vendors will be on site selling items such as jewelry and accessories.

For the past 25 years, the Missouri Winefest has brought together wineries from across the state to showcase their best wines for true wine lovers and those just interested in learning more about Missouri wines. For the entrance fee of $20, guests receive a commemorative wine goblet for sampling and unlimited tasting privileges. Each winery will also sell bottles of the wine sampled at the festival.

Participating wineries at the 26th Annual Missouri Winefest include: Artesian Springs Winery, Cedar Lake Cellars, Farhmeier Family Winery, Sainte Genevieve Winery, St. James Winery, Serenity Valley Winery, Stone Hill Winery, Vance Vineyards & Winery and Westphalia Vineyards.
