Harvest a Cure will be hosted by The Leukemia & Lympoma Society at West County Center in the parking lot across from Restaurant Village/Nordstrom from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.  There will be $20 wristbands for those twenty-one years of age and older, $10 wristbands for those sampling only food and children twelve and under will be free.  Proceeds will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mision to cure blood cancers.

NOTE:  For those older than 21, partnering restaurants will provide a wine sampling and signature dish samples to paid guests.  For minors, restaurants will provide specialty and signature dish samples to paid guests.

There will be an opportunity for each participating restaurant to provide a demonstration of food preparation or suggested wine pairings at their booth.  In addition, LLS will have a booth with awarness and patient services information.  Restaurants will include J. Gilbers Wood-Fired Steaks and Seafood, California Pizza Kitchen, Bravo Cucina Italiana and McCormick & Schmick's Seafood and Steaks.  Entertainment present at the event will consist of Domenic Tricamo and Lucy's Palace band.  Harvest a Cure will also mark the tenth anniversary of West County Center.
