Extreme Flight to Find a Cure

Taking the Quest for Cures to New Heights!

Tim Cloyd, an experienced hot air balloon pilot, will travel hundreds of miles on a unique solo flight to honor those affected by cancer. When the conditions are right, Tim will cruise at altitudes up to 17,000, reaching speeds up to 100 mph.

He hopes to make the flight between 100-400 miles.

This is a high risk flight and Tim will be required to use portable oxygen and special clothing to survive the extreme altitides and cold temperatures. Tim is flying for all the cancer

patients who fight for their lives. He will endure the discomfort because it is far less than the suffering cancer patients face every day.

With your $10 minimum donation to the flight, you can honor a loved one by having their name fly with Tim on his journey!

LLS-designated donations will benefit the Gateway Chapter and our mission to find cures for all blood cancers.
