Man & Woman of the Year - A Champion's Cause
Whether moved by a personal experience with blood cancer or motivated to make an impact, there are men and women all over this country committing their support to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year campaign.
Each candidate connects with family, friends and business contacts for as much support as possible to be awarded the title of Man or Woman of the Year. It's a title that goes beyond just winning, it's one that brings significant research possibilities, saving the lives of patients in need. It's an honor that brings so much hope for so many people. Get Involved. Raise your hand and compete for Man & Woman of the Year. Lives depend on it.
Man & Woman of the Year Reception - Candidates save lives by raising funds and awareness. Join us to learn how you can help. Thursday, January 9th from 6:30-8:30pm at Andaz Savannah Hotel (14 Barnard Street). RSVP to Jean Doliber.
We are currently seeking candidates to participate in our 2014 Savannah Man & Woman of the Year campaign. For more information, or to nominate a candidate, contact Jean Doliber at: Jean.Doliber@lls.org or call 912-897-1300. Visit: www.mwoy.org/ga
Pennies for Patients - Every year across the country, kids' voices are heard!
They participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's School & Youth Programs like Pennies for Patients and Olive Garden's Pasta for Pennies.
In the past 16 years these kids have shown how powerful they can be by raising more than $233 million to fund breakthrough therapies and patient services.
Kids learn not only about the impact they can have, but they learn about leadership, and what "doing good" for others can mean.
We are currently registering schools to participate in our 2013-2014 Pennies for Patients campaign. For more information, or to register your school, call The LLS Georgia Chapter at 404-720-7843. Visit: www.schoolandyouth.org/ga
