The King & Spalding Discover Center's annual golf tournament to raise money for blood cancer research was held last year at the White Water Creek Country Club in Fayetteville.  This was the sixth year King & Spalding has hosted the golf tournament and the event raised nearly $70,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  In the six years they have hosted the tournament, the event has raised more than $220,000 for the cause.

The golf tournament is called 'The Polly' after Polly Hatcher, a King & Spalding employee who lost her battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML).  The money raised from the tournament is used to fund research through LLS's AML Resarch Portfolio.  Founding sponsors for the tournament are King & Spalding, TCDI and Ricoh.  The 7th Annual Polly Hatcher Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on October 28, 2013 at the prestigious Capital City Country Club in Brookhaven.

There are many levels of sponsorship available for The Polly Golf Tournament, from in-kind sponsorship opportunities to cash sponsorship levels starting at $250.  Sponsors will receive great benefits depending on level of sponsorship, including but not limited to exposure on the website and in event related media and press releases, logo displayed on collateral materials as well as participation benefits and sponsor recognition at the golf tournament and reception.
