We currently have several opportunities available:
PATIENT ACCESS DEPARTMENT
Volunteers needed for the Blood Cancer Conference
When: Friday, November 21, 2014
Where: Hilton Hotel, City Ave. Philadelphia, PA
Time: Tentative shifts are 7am-10am, 10am-1pm, 1pm-4-pm
Patient Access is looking for individuals to become LLS ambassadors to do drop ins to introduce or replenish materials at local treatment centers and doctor offices in their surrounding areas near their home. If you are interested in volunteering for this role, you are required to come in for a quick training to learn about LLS and will need to stop by the LLS office to pick up materials on a monthly basis. You will need to provide your own transportation. Time commitment is two days a month (every other week) to visit selected treatment centers for a minimum of 6 months. Individuals who have a connection with blood cancer are encouraged to apply.
- Patient Access is looking for individuals to become LLS ambassadors to represent LLS at various health fairs. Volunteers need to be outgoing and have a working knowledge of LLS services and support offerings and campaign offerings. If you or interested in volunteering for this role, you are required to come in for a quick training to learn about LLS. You will need to provide your own transportation. Volunteering time and location depends on the need of upcoming health fairs and events. Individuals who have a connection with blood cancer are encouraged to apply.
Are you good with administrative task and database entry and able to travel to the LLS office once a week on a continual basis? The Patient Access Department is looking for a someone who can offer a minimum of 4 hours once a week to help with daily administrative projects.

SCHOOL AND YOUTH PROGRAM
You can help us by volunteering your time to conduct school assemblies for School & Youth.
- It has been proven that the average amount a school raises is increased by having a kick off assembly or planning meeting at their school.
- Volunteers will receive training and will be provided with all the necessary tools to run a successful kickoff assembly/planning meeting.
