For more information, please contact Michelle Sobczyk at (302) 661-7300 ext. 2367.
Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection, Peer Support
Have you ever wanted to speak with someone who really "knows what you are going through"? The First Connection program does just that! It "connects" patients and caregivers, over the phone, with trained volunteers who share their special perspective on the recovery process to learn coping skills and gain hope.
If you would like to receive a First Connection Peer call or if you are interested in becoming a First Connection Volunteer (patients must be 6-12 months off treatment), please contact Michelle Sobczyk at (302) 661-7300 ext. 2367.
Patient Services Committee, Members Wanted
The Patient Services Committee assists with and participates in the assessment, planning, and promotion of various patient services programs and projects. It also helps to build and increase awareness about LLS to health care professionals, colleagues, patients, and to the general public as the opportunity presents itself. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member of the committee, please contact Michelle Sobczyk at (302) 661-7300 ext. 2367.
Help Light The Night Surpass Its Goal
Our two Walk events may be over, but your fundraising does not need to be. We're not far from our goal of raising $340,000 - and we know we can get closer with your help and continued efforts! Contact Jessica Holland today to secure a post-Walk fundraising plan to help meet and exceed your team's 2013 LTN goal. The more money raised means more money LLS has to fund cancer research and patient services. Plus, there are great incentives for individuals who go above & beyond.
Contact local Campaign Manager, Jessica Holland, to add your fundraising event or opportunity to this section of LLS Delaware Chapter webpage at (302) 661-7300 ext. 2368 or Jessica.Holland@LLS.org.
