Title:  Coordinator, Mission Operations

Reports to: Director, Mission Operations

Summary:   The Coordinator, Mission Operations is an essential operation and logistic position within the LLS Mission Access Team. The Coordinator performs diverse functions and provides support to day-to-day Mission Operations, including, but not limited to, grants processing, invoice processing, preparing reports, and maintenance of important Mission files. Additionally, the Coordinator, Mission Operations performs project support to both the Director, Mission Operations and the Vice President, Mission Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for processing all credits (Soft Credits) utilizing LLS National Office grants.
  • Accountable for accurate expense identification for National Office grants, ensuring precise reconciliation with grant sponsors.
  • Develop and maintain Soft Credit operating manual; updating as necessary pending procedural improvements.
  • Resolves Soft Credit conflicts for all national and regional Mission Access departments.
  • Prepares, maintains and updates reports relating to various Mission Operation functions.
  • Coordinates and ensures timely processing of all National Office invoices.
  • Coordinates and maintains financial records, files and databases.
  • Coordinates the communication of financial information to Access staff.
  • Performs additional support functions or special projects, as necessary, to implement strategic objectives of Mission Operations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote the field and campaign fundraising initiatives.Perform other related duties as assigned.  

Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum education level - Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum two years of related experience
